The orca, or killer whale is one of the main crests of the coastal peoples of the Northwest. This powerful animal is the largest predator on earth. In legends and oral traditions they are often associated with strong family bonds, community, intelligence, protection and compassion.

This serigraph is #1 from an edition of two (2) printer's proofs. The regular edition consists of 100 signed and numbered prints.

This limited edition silk screen print titled "Killer Whale" by Roy Henry Vickers was hand produced by the screen printing process. It is the only limited edition printing of this design. The artist has inspected and signed each copy in the edition. All trial copies of this edition have been destroyed and the printing stencils obliterated.
