Deadman's Islets is an area just North of Tofino on Vancouver Island. This is where Roy Henry Vickers lived for many years and where he found the inspiration for many of his limited edition prints. This area is sacred land that once was an Indigenous burial ground.

This serigraph is #1 from an edition of two (2) printer's proofs. The regular edition consists of 80 signed and numbered prints.

Please note, that the artist has used superimposed shadow images in this piece, which add another layer to the design. From a photographic standpoint, this is difficult to capture without sacrificing some of the other details. We would be happy to provide our interested customers with additional photos that show the shadow images more clearly.

This limited edition silk screen print titled "Eagles of Deadman's Islets" by Roy Henry Vickers was hand produced by the screen printing process. It is the only limited edition printing of this design. The artist has inspected and signed each copy in the edition. All trial copies of this edition have been destroyed and the printing stencils obliterated.
